Nova Southeastern University Speech Pathology Program Nova Southeastern University offers a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology program that can be completed in person or online if living 50 or more miles from one of the Nova Southeastern campuses. Both the in-person and online formats are accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Classes are offered on evenings and weekends to accommodate those who are employed while receiving their degree. The Speech-Language Pathology Clinic at Nova Southeastern University has specialized clinics in Augmentative and Alternative Communication as well as in voice disorders. Nova Southeastern Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology Admissions Requirements To apply to the SLP master’s program at Nova Southeastern University, one must complete an online application through the Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application Services and meet the following requirements: Transcripts from all postsecondary institutions attended, proving completion of bachelor’s degree or higher from an institution that is regionally accredited A 3.0 cumulative college GPA or higher Six prerequisite courses with a grade of B- or higher and 4 ASHA knowledge outcomes courses with a C- or better Two essays (prompts are provided in application) Three letters of recommendation Twenty-five clinical observation hours with an ASHA certified SLP.
